Question: What is enlightenment, what is the process; and please give me some example of what it feels like?

To realize the “I” in all things, times and places without a second of diversity, can be called enlightenment. The process looks different for people on the outside, but always has the flavor of realizing one’s Eternal Nature-recognizing that this Eternity is skinned over by transient forms- physical (bodies) and conceptual (thoughts); and finally realizing that all transient phenomenon takes place within the womb of the Eternal. Concluding there is only One, and I must be that as well.

Therefore, the riddle of the relationship between the Eternal and the transient is finally solved, and a shift in identity takes place at the fundamental level-ending the seeking.

Every person has experienced that “feeling” of waking up in the morning and for a second your eyes are still closed but you are aware. You have not remembered your problems of the “me” yet, either in the past or future. At the same time you are not dreaming; you are aware but the mind is completely inactive and even unaware of body sensations for a second. For that moment, there is perfect Bliss!
